Algoma University is hoping people with accounting or cybersecurity experience will serve on the board
Algoma University is looking for people to volunteer to serve on its board of governors.
“The board is seeking candidates with knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas: accounting, finance, cybersecurity, governance, legal, and/or risk management,” a release from the university said.
“The board will be prioritizing highly skilled candidates who self-identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit in accordance with university policy.”
Meetings are held in a hybrid format, hosted primarily from the Sault Ste. Marie campus.
The deadline for applications is Dec. 21, 2025 (or until positions are filled).
